We had a great stay at Bitra B&B. the location was lovely, the room and shared bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options. the hosts were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of common areas to relax and meet other travelers. Just a small word of caution for light sleepers, as there may be some noise from guests in neighboring rooms. it was a fantastic experience and great value for money.

Super cute and cozy guesthouse. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing with good coffee and tasty herring. Icelandic horses in the garden were a cool sight. Great location close to Golden Circle attractions. Possible to see Northern Lights from the balcony.

Potential issue for people with horse allergies due to its location beside land with horses. There was a minor misunderstanding about payment, possibly due to lack of communication.

Small room, limited space.

We stayed at a guesthouse on a nice hill, very close to everything. The room was cozy with good beds and we enjoyed a splendid breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, putting a smile on our faces. The location was ideal for sightseeing, with geysers and waterfalls nearby. The guesthouse had shared spaces where we could enjoy coffee and teas.

The wifi coverage in the house could have been better.

We had an amazing stay at a guesthouse in a former women's prison run by a young couple. the shared facilities were great, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. the breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. the location was perfect for exploring the Golden Circle and it was close to Selfoss. the view from the house was spectacular, surrounded by trees and horses. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and clean. the common area was spacious and homely. We felt very welcome and would definitely book here again.

Nothing could have been better.

The proximity to many great sights was perfect for our Christmas stay. It was secluded enough to see the Northern Lights when it was clear. We also loved the addition of horses on the property, it added an extra touch of magic to our holiday.

The bathroom situation was a bit tricky. It was hard for the bathroom on the second floor to be free, so we ended up using the shower downstairs which worked out fine but wasn't as convenient.

Great value for money with friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions and there was ample parking available.

The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, and the walls were quite thin, allowing noise from neighboring rooms. It would have been helpful to have a reminder for guests to be considerate of noise levels.
