I recently had a fantastic solo trip to a hotel nestled in a quiet area near some of Southern Iceland's most important tourist attractions. The location was perfect, as I could easily explore the stunning Golden Circle. The room I stayed in was very comfy and clean, with a bed that had a fantastic mattress. The bathroom had a large shower head, although I did hear there was a slight issue with it falling off. The service at the hotel was friendly and the breakfast was the best I had during my trip. I also loved the fact that the hotel had hot tubs where I could relax after a busy day of sightseeing. there was a delicious Polish restaurant right across the road, making dining options convenient.

There were some minor issues with the shower curtain that stuck to the body while showering.

Had a great stay at a new hotel on the Golden Circle route. Smooth contactless check-in and out. The room was well-furnished, comfortable, and provided the best sleep of the week. Breakfast was delicious. Nearby tomato farm and gas station/convenience store were convenient for lunch and provisions. The restaurant opposite gets busy, so make a reservation in advance.

The location of Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle was perfect for exploring the south of Iceland. We were able to easily access the Golden Circle and even drive inland to Kerlingarfjoll and Landmannalaugar Valley. The convenience of having a convenience store, two restaurants, and a wine bar nearby was a plus. The self check-in process was smooth, and our room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The provided bathrobes were a luxurious touch. The shower had excellent water pressure.

While the breakfast was alright, we arrived late and most of the items were already finished. Additionally, the building and rooms felt a little dated.
