I had the most enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel extremely welcome. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring various coastal towns in the area. Additionally, the free parking outside the hotel made it convenient for me to travel up-and-down the east coast. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this city.

My friend and I stayed at The Crown Hotel for three nights and would happily go back again. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety to choose from. The location is ideal for walks to smaller coastal villages like Johnshaven and Catterline. The hotel had a good bus service, friendly bar, and very good dinners. The rooms, although slightly dated, added to the quaint and quirky feel of this fantastic find. We were made to feel very welcome by the proprietors and locals alike. Highly recommended.

The free parking outside was convenient, and the location was close to some shops and the beach. the bright and clean room had a modern shower room which was refreshing. There was a small bar that smelled good and had comfortable seating.

The hotel felt cramped and dingy, and the rooms had tacky decor and loose carpets. the breakfast wasn't very good, and the table wasn't clean.

We loved the 2-room suite with 2 single beds and 1 double bed, perfect for a group of 3. The ensuite bathroom was clean with great water pressure in the shower. The room had a nice touch with tea, coffee, and snacks available. The free Wi-Fi and TV in each room were a bonus. The breakfast was amazing and cooked to order, filling us up for the day. The staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We also appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to interact with locals at the attached restaurant and bar.

Plenty of tea/coffee and milk were provided, which was a pleasant surprise. the hotel's central location was perfect for coastal walks. Would definitely return if in the area. The hotel was conveniently located in the middle of the village, making it easy to explore. the car parking in the market square was also very convenient. the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It was great to have tea making facilities in the room, even though there was no spoon. But no worries, I used a pen instead. the bar prices were good and they had a nice selection of bar meals and restaurant options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
