We had a fantastic stay at The Northern Comfort Inn in Olafsfjordur. The hotel is located in a remote area of Iceland, on the edge of the lakeshore, nestled amidst stunning mountains. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the modern and cozy amenities made our stay very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the free access to kayaks and a boat, allowing us to explore the beautiful lake. The breakfast provided was fantastic, with a good selection of cereals, breads, fruits, and pastries. The staff were exceptional - friendly, helpful, and prompt in addressing any concerns we had.

The cabins were perfect for a family stay. We loved having kayaks right outside our door and being able to easily explore nearby towns. the rooms had all the basic necessities, including a TV, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus. It was a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The jacuzzi might need some cosmetic improvements and there was only one basic TV channel. the kitchen area was also limited, with no stove or sink, which made it challenging to prepare meals.
