My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Bru Guesthouse. We originally planned to visit in December, but had to reschedule due to bad weather. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the cottage they provided was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the mountains and a serene lupine field nearby. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and we loved having a small kitchen to cook our own meals. The staff even allowed us to stay past the check-out time when the weather prevented us from leaving. We will definitely be returning soon!

I recently stayed at the Bru Guesthouse for a weekend getaway with my family. The location was absolutely stunning, allowing us to witness a storm and marvel at the beauty of the skies. Although we didn't get to see the northern lights due to the clouds, I can imagine this being a perfect spot for it. The guesthouse itself was cozy and warm, with large windows that offered breathtaking views of the remote and gorgeous surroundings. It was an ideal place to relax and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Additionally, the guesthouse would make for a fantastic romantic escape. I can't wait to return soon!

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this incredible location. The cabin was beautifully set up with big windows that offered breathtaking views of the glacier and famous waterfalls. The beds were comfortable, and the chairs with blankets were perfect for cozying up and enjoying the scenery. The well stocked kitchenette was a great bonus. Bungalow 12, at the end, provided us with a private and secluded experience.

There wasn't much space between the sides of the bed and the wall, but it wasn't a major issue. We also had a bit of trouble locking the window and door, but it could have been due to the cabin being newly built.

The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and sofa bed. the TV was great and there were enough power outlets to charge all my devices. I also appreciated the private location of the cabins, with each cabin positioned so that you couldn't see into your neighbor's cabin.

There wasn't much space between the bed and the wall, which made it a bit cramped. I also had trouble locking the window and door, possibly due to the cabin being too new.

The views were breathtaking, with mountains and a waterfall. The cottage was well-equipped and perfect for two adults. The kitchen had a toaster, microwave, and hot plates. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The patio outside was ideal for morning coffee.

Absolutely nothing.

Having a car was necessary for getting around, but each cabin had its own parking lot nearby. the staff was very friendly and even provided helpful information about an impending storm. the cabins were well-equipped with comfortable beds, a well-chosen selection of kitchen utensils, and large windows that offered a great view of the surrounding countryside.

The road leading to the cabins was a bit rough and initially confusing to find, but after a short drive, we arrived without any major issues. One minor drawback was the presence of a nearby gravel pit, which did not obstruct the otherwise beautiful view but was noticeable.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The manager was very welcoming and friendly, and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were great, with the bonus of a BBQ next to the cottage for summer stays. The location was perfect, offering a lovely view of a glacier and waterfall. The cabins were charming, with large windows that provided beautiful views and a quiet atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped, although an extra tea towel would have been helpful. we were very impressed with the cleanliness, facilities, location, and friendly staff.

My recent stay at Bru Guesthouse was absolutely amazing! The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the Icelandic landscape. The communication with the staff was excellent and they were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep, and I loved the personal touches that made the cabin feel like home. Plus, being able to stargaze through the huge windows was a magical experience.

One small drawback was the tight space between the bed and the walls. It would have been nice to have a bit more room to move around.

I had an incredible stay at this guesthouse. The cleanliness was exceptional, with everything being very, very clean. The bathroom was especially impressive, the best I encountered during my entire Iceland trip. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the spacious and well-equipped kitchen in my room. The view from my window was absolutely stunning, with a clear sight of the magnificent Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The staff was fantastic, with the host, Iris, being very sweet and down to earth. I would definitely stay at this guesthouse again.

Perfect for day trips to Eldgja, Laki, and other highland places. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Relaxing atmosphere. All amenities available. Recently refurbished. Easy check-in at any time. Ideal for glacier visits. Mountain-facing cottage with a beautiful lupine field nearby. Super clean, with a small but clean kitchen. The host is welcoming and even allowed us to use the tumbler for drying clothes. Great conversation about local attractions.
