The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast offered a delectable spread of homemade bread, jams, and locally caught trout. The hotel's hot pots and geothermal bathing areas were an absolute delight.

They kept a close eye on the Northern Lights forecast and even woke us up when they appeared. The guided outings to historical sights were fascinating and we learned so much about Icelandic culture. The hot pot with its breathtaking views was a highlight, and we enjoyed spending time with the resident Icelandic horses. Despite being stranded due to a snowstorm, the staff took care of everything and even organized a snowshoeing adventure. The clean and comfortable accommodations made us feel right at home. we highly recommend this hidden gem in the Westfjords!
