The host's communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. We received a refund for a night we didn't stay. The location was convenient for a stopover on the way to West Iceland. The studio apartment was spacious enough for two people. Nearby attractions were within walking or short driving distance.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Borgarnes. Egils Apartments provided a clean and modern studio with all the amenities you could need, including a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bedroom with a double bed. the location was central and offered beautiful views of the mountains. the owner, Gudrun, was incredibly helpful and provided useful information about the area. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Borgarnes.

We stayed at Egils for 3 nights during our trip in Iceland. The apartment felt like a small cozy home with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom. The clear instructions provided beforehand made our arrival smooth, and the helpful folder in the living room gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. The location was stunning, with beautiful mountain views, and the owner Gudrun was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

The isolation between apartments wasn't great, but luckily we had quiet neighbors. the apartment opened right from the street on the ground floor, which was a bit strange.

The lack of communication regarding the entry code was frustrating, as we didn't receive it until the day of our arrival. It would have been helpful to have received this information a day or two in advance, like we have in previous self-service accommodations.
