The hotel is definitely a great value for money option. It offers basic amenities and yet one does not feel like anything is missing. Moreover, its location near bus stop 12 makes it easy to explore the city. The staff is friendly and courteous. Lastly, the view from the room, especially if one can see the harbor, is breathtaking.

As party people, we loved the two restaurants and bar in the hotel for a convenient night out. The location was perfect, right at the start of the main shopping street in the city center, with plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. Plus, the main bus hub was within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. The room itself was practical and spacious, with ample storage space for our clothes and luggage. The view from the 7th floor was stunning, and having a kettle and complimentary tea in the room was a nice touch.

Located close to many shops and restaurants, this hotel is a great choice for families with kids. The hotel is conveniently situated right next to bus stop 12, making it easy to access coach tours or travel to the airport. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are polite and attentive, and breakfast is delicious with a comprehensive buffet offering. The relaxing bar area and beer garden offer a small selection of food and a wide range of drinks. Additionally, the hotel offers a great view of the sea.

There is one negative aspect of the hotel.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff, especially Marelle, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They provided us with helpful tips and recommendations throughout our stay. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. We had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room. The location of the hotel was great, as it was a short walk to the city center and main shopping streets. We also loved the breakfast offered at the hotel, although it was a bit expensive. the staff and amenities made our stay very enjoyable.

Our stay at Fosshotel was worth every penny! The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view from the 7th floor. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and a coffee shop just around the corner. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even giving us extra time to check out when we were delayed due to road closures.

Enjoyed the tasty instant coffee and the well-appointed, quiet room. Breakfast buffet was sumptuous with many food choices. Helpful and resourceful concierge provided good excursion tips.

Wonderful views, friendly staff and convenient location. Loved the surprise birthday gift from the hotel! The room was well-maintained and had a fridge, but could have had more storage space. The breakfast buffet was great, although a bit expensive. I would recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at Fosshotel for a week-long vacation in Iceland. The hotel provided a lovely and relaxed atmosphere, with exceptionally friendly bar staff and delicious breakfast options. We even appreciated the thoughtful touch of tea and warm croissants for our early 3am checkout. Additionally, the hotel's location near Bus Stop 12 made it convenient for airport transfers and other bus pickups. With comfortable beds and stunning bay views from our room, we were truly satisfied with our stay. The hotel's Happy Hour during the World Cup also made drinks more affordable in an otherwise expensive destination.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
