What better way to view the stunning Northern Lights than from the warmth of the Secret Lagoon? After a day full of adventures in Iceland, the big living room in Garthur Stay Inn was the perfect spot for our family to relax and unwind. We enjoyed lounging on the comfortable sofas, sharing stories and laughter while admiring the natural beauty surrounding us.

My children wanted more kid-friendly activities available at Garthur Stay Inn.

The location of the hotel was great, right next to a popular attraction and a fish and chips stand. It made it convenient for us to visit the attraction and grab a quick bite to eat. The bed in our room was comfortable, allowing us to have a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.

The lack of signage, both for finding the hotel and for navigating the property, was frustrating. It would have been helpful to have clearer directions upon arrival.

We had a fantastic stay at this guest house located right next to a popular attraction. The cleanliness of the rooms and shared facilities was exceptional. The hotel facilities, including the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area, were well-maintained. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

There was nothing we didn't like.

My recent stay at a cozy inn with easy access to a hidden lagoon was amazing. The room was comfortable and modern, with a shared bathroom that provided privacy. The guesthouse itself was clean and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. The location was perfect, right next to the Secret Lagoon. I enjoyed unlimited access to the lagoon, especially during the quieter morning and evening hours. I had a relaxing and enjoyable experience at this inn and would highly recommend it.

the spaciousness and cleanliness of the Garthur Stay Inn & Secret Lagoon were top-notch. Being right in the secret lagoon facility allowed us to have a truly relaxing two days before heading to Reykjavik. the lagoon personnel were incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to stay an extra 30 minutes after check out. the guesthouse building was well-equipped with handy extras, such as a shoe polishing kit and a small bottle of fresh milk available for breakfast. the interior design of the building was also lovely, adding to the overall experience.

garthur stay inn & secret lagoon in fludir exceeded my expectations during this valentines. modern room, comfy bed, and spacious kitchen made our stay enjoyable. having the secret lagoon next door was a relaxing bonus.

Odd that other people come and go.

The location of this place is fantastic, especially if you're planning to explore the Golden Circle area. It's close to popular attractions like Geysir and Gullfoss, as well as some great restaurants. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the communal kitchen is fully equipped. Plus, the secret lagoon is right next door, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of sightseeing.

It would be even better if the secret lagoon was accessible for guests outside of its opening hours.

amazing stay! right next to secret lagoon, fish and chips stand, and golden circle attractions. can pay once for secret lagoon and come and go as you please. cozy rooms with shared bathroom, spacious lounge area and kitchen. perfect for cooking. can't wait to return!

Soundproofing could be better.

Cozy guesthouse, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for Golden Circle tour. Access to thermal pool next door. Good food at the trailer. Well-equipped kitchen. Attention to detail in room. Early check-out arrangement possible

The house and room are cozy and extra clean, bed is super comfortable. Spacious dining and living rooms. Kitchen had everything you would need. Extra supplies for bathroom are available. We really felt that the owner planned all details to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and this is seen in many small details. Also we wanted to check out outside reception opening hours, and the owner kindly agreed to arrive early in the morning. The place looks nice but only 4 apartments for rental with share of the kitchen. The place is very crowded during the lagoon hours and later is really quiet. We didn't use the lagoon because our plans took all day driving to waterfall and glacier. We maximize the time for other attractions and not had enough time for everything. What luxury - we had the whole of the place to ourselves. Large spacious comfy living space, well equipped kitchen and very comfy bedroom. Best night's sleep I've had in a long time. Real attention to detail - would definitely recommend. Right next to the Secret Lagoon.

Felt very at home, no complaints at all.

Small rooms, shared bathroom, lounge area with furniture, kitchen with appliances and designated storage, unlimited pool entry during open hours. Disappointed about early morning soak. Quiet, clean, minutes to grocery stores and dining options. Close to secret lagoon location.
