As adventure travelers, we loved the extensive breakfast buffet and delicious dinner menu. The view of the fjord from the dining room and bar was outstanding. The availability of hot tubs on site was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the lofted sleeping area.

This place is absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby restaurants and the Snaefellsnes peninsula for a fantastic day trip. The room amenities are great, including a cozy sitting area, a comfortable bed, and a luxurious bathtub that is perfect for relaxation. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast and fine dining options, ensuring that you are well-fed during your stay. the eclectic interior decor and comfortable common areas at glymur made our stay enjoyable. the hot tubs with a view of the fjord were a highlight. the breakfast was extensive and delicious.

I was blown away by the stunning view from my room at Hotel Glymur. It felt like I was immersed in nature, with the beautiful waterfall just a stone's throw away. The room itself was spacious and had a modern and stylish decor, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The added touch of coffee/tea and cookies available for guests was a delightful treat. Despite a few minor hiccups with a broken window catch and a faulty radiator, the receptionist quickly came to the rescue and fixed them promptly. my stay at Hotel Glymur was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil and scenic getaway.

A breathtaking sunset drive around the lake to reach the hotel was an unforgettable experience. The views from the hotel, especially during sunsets and sunrises, were simply stunning. Our studio suite was cozy and comfortable, with delicious food at the restaurant and a plentiful breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this romantic getaway.

The villa we stayed in was spacious and clean, with beautiful views from the deck. The hotel restaurant offered a great breakfast buffet, which was included in the room rate. The hotel was located conveniently outside of Reykjavík, making it a good base for exploring the Glymur waterfall, Hellner Cliff walk, Borgarnes, and the Golden Circle.

The upper sleeping area in the villa was too warm due to the rising hot air. The noise of tour buses driving up the gravel driveway at 1am was disruptive to sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel! The location, nestled on the northern shore of The Whale Fiord, offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We were close enough to major sights and were able to explore the area easily. The hotel itself was fabulous, with its hillside position adding to its charm. The mezzanine area above the lounge provided a cozy and comfortable sitting area for us to relax in. The room amenities, including a bathtub, electric kettle, and flat-screen TV, added to our comfort and convenience. The staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service and making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious welcome drink and were impressed by the fine dining experience at the restaurant. The on-site jacuzzi was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the stunning views. The hotel also provided excellent facilities such as free Wi-Fi, a car park, luggage storage, and a 24-hour reception, ensuring that all our needs were met.
