Hotel Gullfoss is a gem! Just a stone's throw from the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, the scenic views and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. The dinner was a delightful surprise too, with hearty portions that left us satisfied and happy after a long day of adventure.

While the room was cozy and well-kept, the electric outage issue was a bit of a hassle. Additionally, the dinner menu was limited, which didn't quite cater to our culinary desires. If you're looking for a wider variety, plan accordingly.

i almost thought this would be a nice review, but the gravel car park was a nightmare for my elegant luggage. then there’s the dreadful lack of separated toiletries, i mean seriously, liquid stuck to the shower wall? as if that wasn't enough, a complimentary gesture for the trouble would’ve been appreciated. I just couldn’t with this place.

I really enjoyed the cozy lobby with its comfy armchairs and the delightful free coffee from the cafe, it made for a perfect chill spot. There’s a lovely sun terrace for relaxing and a nice garden area to unwind after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the breakfast was good but not as impressive as the photos. still worth it! 😊

I enjoyed the quiet setting with easy access to the area's natural beauty. The breakfast had warm and cold food options. On my trip, I found some fantastic spots to view the Northern Lights while taking evening walks outside.

the night manager's dog was such a joy to have around. the bathroom was surprisingly small and cramped.

I loved the cozy atmosphere and the breathtaking views while enjoying my breakfast! The home-baked bread was incredible. I also had the best herring here. The staff were super accommodating with our schedule changes.

But we found the dinner menu a bit limited and could use more variety, especially for the desserts. The parking could also be smoother.
