I got great value for my money at Puffin Hotel Vik. The room was clean, spacious, and had a powerful heater to keep me warm in the chilly weather. The location was ideal and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

More breakfast choices would have been nice, like adding a timer or automatic turn-off for the waffle maker.

The location of Puffin Hotel Vik was fantastic, situated close to restaurants, shops, and especially the Black Sand Beach. We loved being able to explore the town on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and warm atmosphere. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and parking was plentiful. The breakfast provided was satisfactory and offered a good start to the day. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay at Puffin Hotel Vik.

Great location near Black Diamond Beach, petrol station, and restaurants. Hotel accommodated us during snowstorm, allowing us to extend stay. Lovely breakfast and clean rooms. Best shower in Iceland. Highly recommended.

The location was convenient, with a supermarket just a 2-minute walk away and the black sand beach within 5 minutes. The staff was amazing, packing our breakfast on an early day and going out of their way to help us with suggestions and drying our clothes after a rainy hike. The attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere made our stay even better.
