The cabins were beautifully themed and well-maintained, with each one having its own unique charm. The breathtaking scenery surrounding the cabins was a treat for the eyes. Additionally, the owner's thoughtfulness in informing us about the Aurora Borealis added an extra touch to our Christmas experience. The breakfast, though simple, was absolutely delicious, with a range of homemade products to enjoy.

The price of the stay was a bit on the expensive side, which is to be expected in Iceland. It would have also been nice if the rooms were cleaned during our stay, considering the price we paid.

The family who runs the place couldn't have been nicer - they gave us a list of stops to make along the way north. The location is amazing - right off the ring road but so quiet and absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was the best of all - homemade skyr, jams, and even carrot hummus! As guests with children, we loved the peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

Christmas at this hotel was a great experience. We received complementary mulled wine and gingerbread cookies upon arrival, which was a nice touch. the location was perfect for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the snow-covered landscape was breathtaking. the breakfast spread was good and had a wide variety of options to choose from.

We had to go to the common area to get our morning caffeine fix. the hot water supply was limited, which made it hard to take a leisurely shower.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impeccable. The location, close to Highway 1, makes it easily accessible. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The rooms have everything you could possibly need, including a private balcony that offers privacy and a fantastic view. The showers are modern and refreshing. The breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of local foods to try.

The cottages were absolutely lovely, very modern with a large bathroom. the breakfast was all homemade and really tasty - the homemade cakes, relishes, and the skyr with toppings were delicious. the owners were lovely and warm, and they were very accommodating, giving us water and ice late at night. the location was great, with beautiful views of the water and grazing sheep. an amazing stay!

I wish they had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, as well as a small freezer/fridge combo for our food. the individual shower tank had limited capacity, so it would be great if they could increase that.
