The climbing was great, accessible for beginners and challenging for experienced climbers. The cottage had everything we needed and the lack of cell signal was a plus for us. We can't wait to come back with the whole family.

I had a fantastic stay at this private nature reserve. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful getaway from the city rush and noise. The chalet was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and super nice. The views were breathtaking, especially at early morning and sunset. I loved sitting on the porch with a cup of hot coffee, wrapped in a blanket, and watching the sunset.

I had an amazing stay at this private nature reserve. The unit I stayed in was well-equipped and had a fantastic layout. The seclusion was exactly what I was looking for, and the lack of cell phone coverage made it even more peaceful and tranquil. The deck and braai area were top-notch, and I especially loved the wood-fired hot tub. The location of the reserve was stunning, offering a unique view from the cottage. The staff provided a warm welcome and excellent communication from booking to departure. Everything was clearly explained, and they made sure that nothing was a problem. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere was ideal for a family reunion, and the starry nights were unlike anything I had seen before. I highly recommend this place for a getaway.

The isolation and stars were amazing. The bed was the best part - amazing warm blanket for the fresh morning breeze. The ride there was fabulous and perfect for a road trip.

My husband works abroad and needed a quiet place to recover for a few days, just the two of us. Gecko Rock was the perfect choice. We stayed at Rheeboksvlakte Cottage, which was completely isolated and had stunning wildlife views. The hosts, Sharon and Travis, were warm and welcoming. The location was beautiful, with access to star gazing and 4x4 trails. The bed was comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back with the whole family.

As young people, we absolutely loved the hot tub and the refreshing experience it provided. The walking and biking trails were fantastic, suitable for all levels, and we even got to spot some wildlife. The hosts, Sharon and Travis, were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The isolation of Rheeboksvlakte Cottage offered stunning wildlife views and a breathtaking night sky. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore all the activities available!
