I was pleasantly surprised to discover the gym and lunch options at Ion Adventure Hotel. The information folders in the rooms could be improved, as we weren't aware of these amenities until we stumbled upon them by accident. However, the breakfast was delicious and the restaurant for lunch and evenings was excellent. The service staff during lunch and dinner were friendly and attentive. The reception staff were extremely helpful and always available to answer our questions. While there were a few minor issues, overall, I had a good experience at the hotel.

We stayed at a hotel in Iceland that was breathtaking. It was located in a completely isolated area that provided a calm and serene environment - perfect for relaxing after going on adventures down the other side of the mountain and taking a dip in the hot river. The service and breakfast were great, and the room was well designed and came with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. it was an amazing stay that we will never forget.

The sauna was very small.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel in the middle of nowhere! The location was simply stunning, with beautiful snowy mountains surrounding us. It felt like we were in a little valley, away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The hotel itself had all the modern amenities we could ask for, including a geothermal pool that was absolute bliss, especially when it was snowing. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. And let's not forget the delicious food at the restaurant - we highly recommend trying the langoustine tail!

We had an incredible stay at a hotel perfectly situated to see the Northern Lights. Although we didn't catch a glimpse due to bad weather, the hotel's location was ideal. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the Northern Lights Bar had an amazing atmosphere. The Lava Spa was stunning, especially relaxing in the pool while it snowed outside. The spa staff were kind and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. And despite the smaller portion sizes in the dinner menu, the taste was exquisite. We were pleasantly surprised by the lower prices than what was advertised on the website. Though the hotel may be busier in peak season, we still highly recommend it as a perfect getaway from downtown Reykjavik. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.
