Great Value & Cozy Comfort in a Prime Location!

I enjoyed my stay during the Iceland Airwaves festival. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Ingolfur Square. My top-floor room had a stunning view of Mount Esja. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Remember to keep your door key handy for after-hours entry!

It was just a decent option for a couple of nights in Reykjavik with fantastic value for money. The room had a big wall-mounted TV with UK channels, which was nice after a long day out. Make sure to always carry your key, or you might be stuck outside after 10 pm.

Happy hour drinks were a nice touch!

Had such a lekker time! Room was warm and cozy, the beds were flipping comfy. Gale at reception was a chommie, helped me like a pro when I had a bit of a situation. The place just feels good, you know?

Only downside was the bathroom sink—way too small, like way small! You splash water everywhere trying to use it. Eina!

Had a sweet as time, but the breakfast could’ve had more variety, and I found the bathroom a bit cramped. Staff were choice and the location’s a bonus!

What a jol! The staff were legends, especially Alma—she helped us spot the Northern Lights! The brekkie was on point with loads of choices, kept us going for the day. And the vibe of the place just makes you feel at home, ya know?

Bit noisy at times, but not too bad. Just keep your ears open for it!

Breakfast is tasty and the convenience of the location can't be beat. Just be mindful of the basic room amenities—some improvement would go a long way.

I arrived early in the morning after a long flight. It was confusing to find the right way into the hotel without staff present. The room was in the basement, and the bathroom had a small step down that was a bit tricky. Despite this, the location allowed easy access to various attractions, and the cleanliness seemed satisfactory. Enjoyed daily breakfast, and the fresh juice was a highlight during my stay.

the location was decent, but that 30 minute walk to the bus stop was absolutely horrendous! what a nightmare! not to mention, my room was too small, i expected a cozy suite, but instead, i got a closet. i almost gave a good review, but the lack of basic comfort really ruined it for me. no upgrades, no special treatment, just plain disappointing.

had an awsome time here! the location was super close to the harbour and tons of cool restaurants. also, we got a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. the staff were really friendy, helped us see the northern lights and even suggested places to check out. breakfast had a decent spread too, not gourmet but good enough to start the day!

Amazing location near attractions, well-sized rooms, and cleanliness was on point! The staff genuinely went out of their way to help me sort out my tour situation. Kudos to them!

The parking situation was basically a game of Tetris—good luck finding a spot! Also, I wasn’t exactly thrilled to discover some dust bunnies hiding under my bed—surprise!

the breakfast selection was huge with eggs, cheese, and croissants. the shower leaked onto the floor due to its design.

The location was so close to all the Reykjavik landmarks! ! Breakfast was filling, and the staff were super helpful, always ready with tips on where to go. The room was clean, and I appreciated the efficient check-in process.

Everything was ideal.

i had a great time at local 101! the location was perfect, close to local restaurants—we found them quite pricey. the staff helped us see the northern lights on our first night, which was magical! plus, alma was so helpful in planning our day and the rest of our trip, making it much smoother.
