We had a great Christmas stay at this guesthouse! the rooms were modern and comfortable, with private facilities. the breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of homemade breads and pastries to choose from. the location near the ocean was perfect for enjoying the beautiful views, and it was also close to the hot tubs in the village which was a great advantage. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, even offering to prepare us food despite the late hour of our arrival.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the isolation between rooms was not very good, so we could hear our neighbors talking which was a bit bothersome.

We got great value for our money at Malarhorn Guesthouse. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything was spotless. The staff treated us friendly and the location had a spectacular view.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with clearer labeling of items.

The room at Malarhorn Guesthouse had a good size, with all the necessary amenities like a hairdryer, kettle, and side tables by the beds. It felt like a cozy cabin made out of wood. The breakfast had a good variety and was constantly restocked so there was always plenty of food. The location in the Westfjords was beautiful, perfect for exploring the area.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel with its amazing views of the peninsula in Drangsnes. The location was perfect, right on the peninsula overlooking the sea. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a small terrace and comfortable beds in the well-equipped rooms. The cleanliness was impeccable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was included and delicious, providing a great start to our day.

The small and quiet fishing village was the perfect getaway for me. I enjoyed long walks along the beautiful seaside, and even had the chance to relax in the public hot tub. the best part of my stay was definitely the restaurant in the hotel. I had one of the best meals I've ever had in Iceland, a delicious fish dish. the spacious common area with a kitchen and living room was a great place to socialize and relax, especially with the TV and DVD player.

I found the rooms to be quite small, more like sleeping cabins. They only fit two beds and nothing else.

Nothing could have been better.

This hotel is perfectly located near the ocean and next to Kerling rock. It's just a 50m walk to the local swimming pool and a short 3-minute walk to the hotpots by the ocean. The rooms are in separate buildings, which adds to the cozy and private atmosphere. The newly-built houses are very cozy, especially when it's raining and the wind is howling around the building. The breakfast is fantastic, with a good variety and choice. They offer free tea and coffee throughout the day, which is a nice touch. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent.

I absolutely loved my recent stay at Malarhorn Guesthouse. The cozy log cabin-style room was spacious and had a stunning view of the fjord. We recently spent our Xmas at a guesthouse in the Westfjords. We loved the Christmas decor and that they provided complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. the location was ideal for those who want to be close to hot springs and enjoy the ocean view. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which was enough to start the day.

We did have a few negative experiences, such as the confusing check-in process and the soft mattresses which impacted our sleep. We also felt that the surrounding area lacked attractiveness, but as it was a stopover for us, it wasn't a major concern.

Beautiful location right on the water with amazing views. Comfortable rooms with nice sitting patios. the staff was friendly and helpful, even storing our leftover pizza for us.

The room can get quite warm and there were some large insects that got in when we opened the patio door. the dinner options at the restaurant were limited and the buildings didn't make the most of the incredible views.

The WiFi in the bedroom was not accessible, although there was free WiFi available in the bar and dining area.
