I recently stayed at Mid Hvoll Cottages for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The cottages themselves are minimal but very cozy, perfect for those who enjoy the cabin-like feel. They provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the rock formations and the stunning black volcanic beach. The surrounding area is peaceful and remote, making it an ideal spot for witnessing the Northern lights. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in that area. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mid Hvoll Cottages! The location was perfect, just a short distance from the stunning black volcanic beach and Vik. The views from the cottage were truly mesmerizing, and we felt like we were surrounded by natural beauty. The living area in the cottage was spacious and cozy, providing a great space for our group of friends to hang out and relax. The shower was also amazing, with a refreshing and invigorating flow. The cozy and warm cabins were well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, providing us with a comfortable stay. Despite a minor issue with the advertised price, the staff were accommodating and provided us with a refund. The overall experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return again in the future. we highly recommend Mid Hvoll Cottages for a wonderful and memorable stay in South Iceland.

Good location for seeing northern lights and hearing the ocean. Helpful and nice host. Practical cottage with 1 bedroom, sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom facilities in good condition. Dogs were playful and well-behaved. Close to Vik and other attractions.
