Loved the beautiful garden view from my room. The buffet breakfast was a culinary masterpiece, especially the endless supply of cereal and toast. Cons: I was disappointed by the lack of hot water and coffee upon arrival, but hey, at least I got to buy a cup from the kitchen!

My recent stay at Gauksmyri Guesthouse was great! The location was convenient, just off route 1, making it easy to access. The guest house itself was very clean and comfortable, with newly renovated rooms and private bathrooms. The breakfast provided was also very good, offering a variety of options. I especially enjoyed the friendly staff, particularly the chef and Lisa. I had a pleasant experience and would highly recommend this guest house.

We stayed at Gauksmyri Guesthouse for a few days and it was a delightful experience. The charming, old European guesthouse ambiance made us feel like we were stepping back in time. The personal touch of family photos and cherished heirlooms added to the cozy atmosphere. Despite our small room, we found it incredibly comfortable. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, and we loved being able to enjoy dinner right on the premises. The staff, particularly Lisa, were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful spot, with easy access to Route 1 and nice decorations throughout the facility. The rooms are clean and well-kept, with comfortable bedding and plenty of electrical outlets. The staff is friendly and accommodating, offering coffee and hot chocolate upon arrival. Breakfast is included, although the selection is limited to cereals, yogurt, toast, and beverages. However, there is a microwave available in the reception area to make hot water. the guesthouse offers a cozy and convenient stay.

There were no horses on the property and the restaurant was closed during my visit.

We, a family of six, booked three twin rooms at this hotel and were pleased to find that they were located close to each other. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, with a beautiful view of the nearby farm. We particularly liked the unique use of horseshoes as symbols throughout the hotel, such as in the room numbers and on the stairs. The breakfast provided was excellent, especially the delicious croissants and egg salad. The staff, including Lisa, were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
