The hotel decor and lobby area is jaw-droppingly beautiful, with soft lighting and a warm atmosphere. The staff, especially Samantha at the Info desk, provided excellent customer service and helpful recommendations. The spa was heavenly with a bubbling hot tub and provided snacks and drinks. The rooms were generously sized, well-equipped, and had comfortable beds. The coffee in the room was delicious and the ceramics added a special touch. The location was great, with nice views and a short walk to fun shopping streets. The food was incredible, with a chef from a Michelin star restaurant. every small detail was thought about, and I highly recommend this hotel for a super satisfying stay.

Spent New Year’s Eve at this hotel and had a wonderful time! The staff were fantastic and really polite. The hotel is in a great location near all the key attractions. The breakfast was so delicious especially the local delicacies. I really liked the toiletries provided in the room which had such a lovely scent.

Communication could be improved. They didn’t seem to have a clear understanding of what we had booked and we couldn’t seem to get the correct information from them.

We were impressed with the luxurious amenities at this hotel, including the spa and wellness centre, sauna, and jacuzzi. The massage we received was top-notch, and we loved relaxing in the spa lounge and steam room. The restaurant served incredible food and the bar/lounge area was a great place to enjoy drinks in the evening. Plus, the location was fantastic for exploring the city.

That the in-room breakfast was a bit lacklustre. Although the private facilities in our room were exclusive and top-quality, we were disappointed that there was no option for a bathtub in the bathroom.

The bed and pillows were too soft, causing me difficulty with my Parkinson's disease. However, housekeeping promptly provided firm replacement pillows, which greatly improved my comfort and safety during my stay. Additionally, I appreciated the promptness and efficiency of the staff at the front desk and concierge, who were highly attentive and helpful. The snackbar also exceeded my expectations with its fantastic offerings.

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Additionally, the hotel offers a rooftop bar with a nice atmosphere.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Edition in Reykjavik. The rooftop bar provided incredible views of the Atlantic and the chic, eclectic architecture created a unique atmosphere. The spa experience was top-notch, with a skilled masseuse providing one of the best Hammam Spa experiences I've had. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The central location made it easy to explore the city and indulge in the local restaurants and shopping. This new Marriott contender is definitely the place to beat in Reykjavik!

Although there was a hotel workers strike during my stay, the staff really stepped forward to ensure that our needs were taken care of. While some services were limited, the managers were helpful and the bell staff were excellent.
