The value for money at Umi was well worth it, considering the stunning mountain views, chic and comfortable rooms, and impeccable service from the staff.

The breakfast could use some improvement, perhaps with a wider variety of options.

Nestled in meadows by ocean, stunning views of mountains. Super quiet and away from light pollution, chance to see Northern Lights. 15-20 min walk to private beach. Comfortable rooms with rainfall showers and local bath products. Impressive staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect stay, can't wait to return.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and property was exceptional. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower room. The location was perfect, as it was close to many attractions such as amazing waterfalls and a beautiful black sand beach. Being away from the main road added to the peacefulness and tranquility of the surroundings. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even alerted us to the Northern Lights during dinner and kept our meal warm while we went outside to witness the spectacle. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast options were delicious as well.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff went above and beyond to help us out with a flat tire and even recommended some great spots to visit, including several amazing waterfalls in Iceland. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The room was very comfortable and had great amenities such as heating, tea and coffee facilities, and flat-screen TV. The dining restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was centrally located, making it extremely convenient for exploring the amazing waterfalls in the region.
