Amazing boot dryer. Tea, coffee, great breakfast. Homely, enjoyed hanging out with guests. Bit of a walk to town, easy to find.

The hostel had a decent location, close to key attractions, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One positive aspect was the availability of kitchen facilities, which was convenient for preparing meals. the other positive aspect was the comfortable beds, which provided a good night's sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The room was clean and although it was small, it had everything I needed. The shared kitchen was well equipped and convenient. The location of the hostel was perfect, situated on top of a hill with beautiful views. I enjoyed taking a stroll through town and to the nearby beaches. It was great to see the dogs and chickens outside, my son especially loved playing with them. The breakfast provided was amazing, with a variety of options including waffles, cheese, ham, cereals, and even salmon. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The check-in process was easy and they had a note with my name on it, ensuring my bed was reserved. The common area was nice and I loved the homey feel of the place. The kitchen was well-equipped and the breakfast they provided was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the hostel had free parking facilities, which was a great perk.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the spacious and cozy cottage. It had a large kitchen area with plenty of dishes, perfect for preparing holiday meals. the separate bedroom and loft provided ample sleeping space for our family. the best part was the breathtaking view from the cottage and the lovely grounds surrounding it. Additionally, the location was great, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town but still within walking distance to trails and hiking spots. Oh, and the shower in the bathroom was the best one we experienced during our entire trip!

On the downside, we found the driveway from the main building to the cottage to be quite steep and rough. It definitely needs some improvement.

The location was convenient, close to restaurants, the church, and supermarkets. The surroundings were beautiful with free-roaming pets. The room was a decent size and roommates were considerate.

I stayed at Vik Hostel for a short trip to explore the beautiful surroundings of Vik. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the famous black sand beach, Vikurfjara.
