We had a cozy room with all necessary amenities. The hotel's location was perfect, with a grocery store and various restaurants, including Indian cuisine, just a block away. Additionally, we found the public transportation easily accessible, as there was a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Moreover, we were delighted to discover that there was a sunset view point just 2 miles away.

Stayed at Howard Johnson for a week. Great location near BART, restaurants, and a short walk to downtown and UC Berkeley. Free parking and reliable wifi. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Also, there was a fantastic coffee shop nearby that served amazing coffee and baked goods. a pleasant stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impressive, with everything spotless and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sam, who assisted me with internet access and even helped me figure out the shower facet which was a bit strange. I also appreciated the convenient parking option, as finding parking in this city can be a challenge. The location was great, close to a busy street but once inside the courtyard, it felt cozy and peaceful. the hotel provided excellent value for the price.

The room was spacious and well-designed, with a separate sink area and a locked bathroom for privacy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, including a fridge with a freezer, and the room was impeccably clean. Additionally, the hotel offered direct access to the parking lot, making it convenient for guests with cars. Its location in the Bay Area was perfect, as it was within walking distance to the metro station, allowing easy transportation to other parts of the city. Close to a variety of dining options, it was also situated near many attractions.

The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for one person. the property was well, maintained and had a good Wi, Fi connection. the continental breakfast was a nice touch. the location was ideal, being minutes away from public transportation and close to Target and restaurants. It was also a short drive to downtown SF. the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to lend me a clipper card.

The room was relatively small and the price was a bit high compared to nearby hotels. the designated non, smoking room had a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant.

I recently stayed at a small inn in Berkeley and I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer service provided by Sam at the front desk. He was always smiling, had a great attitude, and was willing to help with anything we needed. I even left my jacket in the room after checking out and Sam called me within 10 minutes to let me know. Their customer service was truly appreciated. The room was nice and clean with a fridge and microwave for convenience. The temperature controls were easy to use and the towels were fluffy and absorbent. They even had a real drip coffee maker that I could use with my own coffee. The location was also good, with plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance.

The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better was if they had more options available.
