I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impressive, with everything spotless and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sam, who assisted me with internet access and even helped me figure out the shower facet which was a bit strange. I also appreciated the convenient parking option, as finding parking in this city can be a challenge. The location was great, close to a busy street but once inside the courtyard, it felt cozy and peaceful. the hotel provided excellent value for the price.

Don't have any issues at all.

The room was spacious and well-designed, with a separate sink area and a locked bathroom for privacy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, including a fridge with a freezer, and the room was impeccably clean. Additionally, the hotel offered direct access to the parking lot, making it convenient for guests with cars. Its location in the Bay Area was perfect, as it was within walking distance to the metro station, allowing easy transportation to other parts of the city. Close to a variety of dining options, it was also situated near many attractions.

All was good.

The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for one person. the property was well, maintained and had a good Wi, Fi connection. the continental breakfast was a nice touch. the location was ideal, being minutes away from public transportation and close to Target and restaurants. It was also a short drive to downtown SF. the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to lend me a clipper card.

The room was relatively small and the price was a bit high compared to nearby hotels. the designated non, smoking room had a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant.

I recently stayed at a small inn in Berkeley and I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer service provided by Sam at the front desk. He was always smiling, had a great attitude, and was willing to help with anything we needed. I even left my jacket in the room after checking out and Sam called me within 10 minutes to let me know. Their customer service was truly appreciated. The room was nice and clean with a fridge and microwave for convenience. The temperature controls were easy to use and the towels were fluffy and absorbent. They even had a real drip coffee maker that I could use with my own coffee. The location was also good, with plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance.

The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better was if they had more options available.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was terrific and the location felt safe and secure. The rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities, including a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, fridge, microwave. The hotel facilities were great, with air conditioning that worked well and easy-to-use DirectTV. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my room met my needs. I also appreciated the proximity to the university, as well as the nearby metro station and good restaurants. this hotel served my needs perfectly at a reasonable price.

Nothing is perfect.

We were pleasantly surprised by the stylish and newly remodeled rooms at Howard Johnson. The queen room we stayed in was clean, new, and surprisingly stylish. The ash colored wood floors, light grey walls, and silver toned mosaic tile detailing in the bathroom gave the room a modern and upscale feel. The updated amenities like the large wall mounted LCD screen, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were a nice touch. The room had bright lighting, lots of outlets, and good WiFi, making it convenient for our stay. Despite being on a main road, the room was fairly quiet at night. we were very impressed with the newly remodeled room we had at Howard Johnson.

Though we enjoyed our stay at Howard Johnson, there were a few minor downsides. the noise from the street was quite loud, which may bother light sleepers.

The motel was tucked away in a quiet environment, allowing me to have a peaceful and relaxing stay. Plus, the windows opened up, letting in the refreshing bay air. Another great perk was the motel's proximity to a fantastic Thai restaurant and a 7-11 convenience store, making it easy for me to grab a bite to eat or any essentials I needed.

My stay here felt almost like being at home, as there was nothing to complain about.
