Staying at a 91-year-old heritage lodge on the upper floors of Apeejay Chambers made me feel like a time-traveling aristocrat. the dining area in the dormitory was a delightful surprise, perfect for mingling with fellow time travelers.

Just loved having unexpected roommates that seemed to never leave - workaholics on a holiday, perhaps?

Loved the vintage vibe and homely environment, plus fort location near tourist attractions and good food spots. the staff was excellent and ensured my safety as a solo female traveler, making my stay comfortable and exceeding expectations. the shared toilets could use more frequent cleaning during the day, but overall, I felt really safe and relaxed 😊.

As a solo traveler, I stayed at this hotel for a few days and ended up extending my stay to a week. The location is ideal, being within walking distance to Colaba, the fort area, and the Crawford Market. The heritage building adds to its charm, and the owners' passion for their family-run business is evident in the home-style feel, delicious food, and cleanliness. The staff, including Mr. Vinod, Mr. Subodh, Mr. Yadav, and Mr. Navnath, made me feel like I was at home. Highly recommended!
