I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of the town. The location was perfect, right near the main temple of HH. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a big mattress and attention to detail. The terrace had a panoramic view of the mountains, which was simply breathtaking. The breakfast offered a variety of options and the staff provided excellent service.

No improvements needed, everything was spot on.

As business travelers, we loved the excellent services provided by the staff, especially Tenzin at reception. He went above and beyond to assist us with taxis, airport transfers, and organizing sightseeing trips with a professional local guide. The hotel's location near the temple and main streets, yet in a quiet area, was perfect. The room was clean, warm, and had a fantastic view. The included breakfast was abundant and offered both Indian and continental options, with delicious beverages.

Felt safe walking at night, no complaints.

I recently stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located near His Holiness' residence and the bustling market. It was just a short walk away from the famous Dalai Lama temple, making it a perfect spot just outside of the main downtown area. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The staff provided friendly and helpful service, and the breakfast spread was delicious. The hotel also boasted stunning views from its terrace, adding to the overall charm.

The one downside was that the rooms lacked soundproofing, which sometimes disturbed my sleep.

Received a wonderful glass of lemon, honey and ginger tea upon arrival. the views from the balcony were breathtaking, perfect for our romantic escape. the staff were friendly and offered complimentary toiletries and a safe in the room.

The location was quite a walk from the town and difficult to find. the room did not have any heating, leaving us quite chilly during the night.

I had the most amazing time at Norbu House! From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel so welcome. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. They even provided me with delicious ginger and lemon drinks and snacks. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, and I enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset every day. The location was perfect, close to the home and temple of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The breakfast spread was tasty and had a great variety of options. I had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend Norbu House to anyone visiting the area.

Magnificent view from rooms. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Great room service food, especially the momos. Convenient location close to the main square and Dalai Lama temple.

Great location near Dalai Lama monastery and town centre. Delicious breakfast. Owner personally takes care of guests. Rooms offer stunning views.
