I had an incredible experience staying at this charming hotel located right on top of the Temples. The small palace feels like a step back in time, with its unique 500-year old haveli design. The room I stayed in had beautiful wall paintings and decorated pillars, creating a magical atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and warm, ensuring a restful sleep. The service provided by the family running the hotel was exceptional, going above and beyond to assist me. The breakfast served on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Jain temples was a delightful treat.

The bathroom had a poorly fitting shuttered window into a family living area, which made me feel a lack of privacy.

At Hotel Suraj, we got incredible value for our money. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the modern comforts while still retaining the ancient charm of the haveli. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the fort. The staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.

The breakfast menu could have had more variety.

Spacious room in historical building. 30-min wait for hot shower. Cold weather in Feb, so bring warm clothes. Friendly uncle runs property. Good for sight-seeing, but no car access.
