I had a wonderful stay at a guesthouse in Leh. The location was perfect - close to the center but away from the crowded streets, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the bathroom/showers were better than average. The manager, Sonam, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He organized excursions for me, including trips to monasteries and the mountain lakes. He even arranged an extra night in the guesthouse and personally drove me to the bus station at 4:30 AM. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and the restaurant had a good kitchen.

The location of the guest house is perfect, as it is very near to the market and offers breathtaking views of Khardung la, leh palace, tsemo fort, and Shanti stupa from the terrace. The rooms are nice and clean, with comfortable beds and hot water available in the bathrooms. The owner, Sonam, is a very friendly and helpful person who goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a pleasant stay.

The pricing for breakfast at the guest house is quite high, with better and cleaner food options available at nearby restaurants/eateries.
