The staff at Shiv Shakti Hostel is incredibly friendly and helpful. They organize great trips and activities, such as temple and waterfall tours and the Ganga arti. The hostel has a real community feel and offers free chai at the reception all day long. The dorm beds are comfortable and well-equipped, with curtains, personal lights, and plugs. There are also two bathrooms in the dorm rooms and big lockers for your belongings. Additionally, they provide a little card with discounts at various places and even offer drop-offs at the bus station.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They treated us like family and made us feel warm and cared for. The hostel offers many activities, including a weekly family dinner that was absolutely fantastic. The meals served here were the best we've had so far in this city. The common areas and rooms were always kept clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and had thick, cozy blankets. The hot water in the big, clean bathrooms was great, and they even provided free filter water. The rooftop view was stunning, and there are popular restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this hostel and would definitely come back.

the staff at Shiv Shakti were lovely, always greeting guests with big smiles and offering their assistance. the private room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. the hostel organized various activities and tours, including a temple and waterfall tour and a visit to see the Ganga arti. I particularly enjoyed the rafting trip. They also provided free chai at the reception, had a wide selection of books, and offered discounts at local establishments. the location was excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions. I would definitely recommend Shiv Shakti and look forward to returning in the future.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hostel in a prime location near Laxman Jhula. the hostel had a great atmosphere and the dormitories were well-maintained and air-conditioned. the cleanliness was impressive, with daily room cleaning and fresh bedsheets. the staff, including the owner Nitin bhai and his team, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. the common areas, including the reception and common room, were comfortable and perfect for relaxing or working. the hostel also offered a range of activities, such as yoga classes and group outings, which added to the overall experience.

The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable, making my stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and able to communicate in English, which was convenient.- The location of the hostel was fantastic, with many good restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance.- There was a nearby boat passage that allowed easy access to Tapovan on the other side of the river.- Every bed had its own fan, allowing for personalized cooling.

During my stay, the common room on the top floor lacked playing material and entertainment options, which could have made the hostel more lively like other hostels in the area. Although the room and staff were great, there were some issues that made my stay unpleasant.
