As a solo traveler, I loved the rainforest view and the stunning valley vistas at Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa. The temperature controlled infinity pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and I also enjoyed the various activities offered, such as archery, table tennis, nature walks. The location in the middle of a rainforest added to the charm of the resort.

The location in the center of the cottage was perfect, as it provided us with incredible views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and we were impressed with the facilities, including the spa therapy and the nature walks in the jungle. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from the friendly service at the restaurants to the helpful team at the activity center. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff made sure to cater to our individual tastes. this hotel provided us with a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

While the buffet breakfast was delicious, I would have liked to see more variety. Additionally, the in-room dining menu was quite limited.

The complementary drink and Christmas cookies were a nice touch, and the location was great for exploring the nearby town. the bungalows were spacious and had a beautiful view of the surrounding nature.

The service was extremely slow, and we often had to wait an hour or more for our food and drinks to arrive. the spa treatment we booked was not worth the price we paid.

The hotel boasts exclusive amenities, such as an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, and a Spa & wellness centre, with skilled staff. the garden area and outdoor swimming pool offer breathtaking views of the valley. the entertainment and picnic area provides a serene atmosphere for leisure activities, while the BBQ facilities make for a delightful evening. the room advantages with exclusive facilities, like the well-appointed restaurant, in-room breakfast, bar, and snack bar complete the luxurious experience.

This hotel has a minor downside. the location, albeit spectacular, is quite far from the main city, making it necessary to have all meals at the premises.

I recently stayed at Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg for my first wedding anniversary celebration. The rooms were not only spacious but also impressively furnished and designed. The housekeeping staff, especially Pinker and Bishwajeet, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable with special decorations, a cake, and a bouquet of flowers. The food at both Fern Tree and The Grill restaurants was delicious, and my wife even had the opportunity to attend a culinary session with the chef. The views from the lobby and infinity pool were breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. If you're looking for a place to unwind and be treated like royalty, this is the perfect destination.
