During our stay at Gateway Chikmagalur - Ihcl Seleqtions, we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by the staff. One particular staff member, Yogesh, went above and beyond to make our first anniversary celebration special. From welcoming us with a cake to arranging a romantic candlelight dinner by the poolside, everything was perfect. The attention to detail and the dedication of the staff made us feel truly special. We also loved the spacious cottage with a private garden, which provided a serene and peaceful ambiance. The food, especially the Malnad style veg biryani and Dhal kichdi, was outstanding. our stay was excellent, and the hospitality of the entire team was truly impressive.

We did notice some drawbacks during our stay. The washrooms were not well-maintained and had cleanliness issues.

Excellent service, from check-in to check-out. Staff provided free room upgrade, prepared custom dishes, and packed a picnic lunch. Local site-seeing recommendations were great. The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel special and provide the Taj experience.

We had a great time at the hotel. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, with young and energetic staff members who were always ready to assist us. They served us delicious food in a beautiful garden setting where we could relax and enjoy our meals. The hotel was located right next to a forest, which provided a tranquil environment. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and we especially loved the large balcony that offered stunning views of the surrounding hills. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and they made sure all our needs were taken care of. Additionally, the swimming pool and kids play area were perfect for some fun and relaxation.

The limited menu options and slightly expensive prices were a bit disappointing.

The property had beautiful views of the greenery and the rooms were well-maintained. The food was amazing and we couldn't resist trying everything on the menu. the staff was kind and professional. We also enjoyed the various activities offered including the swimming pool and the trekking trails.

The bill was not accurate and we wasted a lot of time trying to sort it out. This was quite frustrating, and we didn't appreciate that nobody apologized for their mistake.

Fantastic location, well-maintained property, spacious and clean rooms, amazing outdoor activities, beautiful waking up to bird chirping, friendly staff.

The leisure spa and wellness center, swimming pool, and jacuzzi were also a great addition to enhance our stay. The garden area was well-maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere to relax and unwind.
