I had a fabulous experience at Taj Kumarakom Resort and Spa, nestled in the serene beauty of nature. The view of the Vembanad lake from the garden was simply breathtaking. The spa and swimming pool were delightful, and the chef and his team deserve a special award for their culinary skills. Spent Christmas at a beautiful heritage hotel with amazing views of water bodies and surrounded by greenery. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. the rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities one would expect from such a high-end resort. the location was perfect, with easy access to bird sanctuaries and heritage sites that showcased the best of the region. the food was delicious and we could enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, kayaking, fishing, pottery, and more.

While the hotel offered great facilities and activities, the prices were on the higher side. the food and extras like an extra bed or pet charges added up quickly, making the stay quite expensive.

The only minor issue we had was that the bicycles and kayaks for hire could not be taken outside the venue, which would have been great. While the wine prices were quite high, the quality of it was commendable.
