Excellent Location and Helpful Staff make for a Memorable Stay

The centralized location of the hotel, just a short walk from the Periyar Tiger Reserve entrances, was extremely convenient for exploring the area. the limited food menu and early closure of the restaurant were slight drawbacks to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, sharing insightful information about the wildlife in Periyar and other attractions in Thekkady. the rooms were amazing, clean, and spacious, with monkeys adding to the vibrant atmosphere. the location was very good, within walking distance of the town and national park, making it convenient for exploring the area. the breakfast was simple but good, featuring American-style options, and there were plenty of dining choices nearby. the hotel had a cozy lobby with a coffee and tea area that also served breakfast, creating a safe and easy-going environment.

One area that could be improved is the maintenance of the room floors to prevent staining on socks or shoes. providing dispensing soap/shampoo instead of blocks could enhance the convenience for international guests.

The coffee shop saved my morning - cake for breakfast, why not? Free WiFi saved me from boredom. the tour desk folks felt like mind readers, answering my questions before I even asked.

Oh well, where were those elusive monkeys everyone talks about?
