I recently stayed at Labak River Hotel in Ubud for a week and it was absolutely fantastic. The location was ideal, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The pool overlooking the trees and river was a highlight, and the bed was incredibly comfortable and clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the entire hotel was spotless. The rooms were beautiful and well-equipped, and the shuttle service was reliable. The hotel has a small number of rooms, which often made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. I can't fault it at all, it's definitely the best hotel I've stayed in for the price.

Poor communication and service.

During our Christmas stay at this hotel, we enjoyed the beautiful view from the infinity pool overlooking the river and tropical forest. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of options to choose from. We also appreciated the hotel's strategic location, making it easy for us to access major attractions within a short distance by scooter or a comfortable 20-minute walk.

The bathroom needed some maintenance, and we had some issues with the shower head's water flow. We were also disappointed that there were no vegetarian options on the menu.

Great staff, always very attentive. Facilities were very clean. They surprised us with a cake and even a whole layout of birthday wishes on the bed.

Ridiculous breakfast. only went once in 5 days.
