I had an exceptional experience at a hotel in Padang. The staff at Mercure were incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcomed. The room was spacious and offered beautiful views of the city and surrounding areas. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and plenty of dining options nearby. We also enjoyed the delicious Indonesian food, especially the Black Pepper Beef Rice Bowl. it was great value for money and we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

Spent New Year in a hotel in Sumatra. the location was amazing, right by the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunset while sipping on cocktails from the hotel's bar. the staff was very friendly and always went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They even organized a fun New Year's Eve party with traditional food and music. the room was comfortable and clean, with a great view of the sea.

The breakfast could have been better, as there were ants on the fruit and the toaster didn't work properly. the TV in the room was quite blurry, even after we asked the staff to fix it.
