Our stay at Benbow Historic Inn was delightful. The dining experience on the terrace was exceptional - live band, great ambiance, and delicious food. The historic charm of the inn transported us back in time. Our room, although cozy, had a lovely view of the patio where soft live music enhanced the atmosphere. The staff, especially Gisselle and Jamie, were kind, efficient, and provided excellent service. The Thanksgiving dinner was a highlight - the menus offered a variety of delicious choices. we had a restful and enjoyable getaway at Benbow Historic Inn.

There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. Our room was located below the terrace, and at times, we could hear furniture being moved, which caused some noise.

Beautiful historical decor with large fireplace lounge and complimentary tea; comfortable beds with lovely views of the grounds; superb dining options available at an additional cost; attentive and friendly staff; meticulous attention to details such as complimentary sherry and scones.

For the price we paid, the value we got at the inn was exceptional. The room was impeccably clean and the vintage decor added a charming touch. The location was serene and secluded, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff treated us with utmost kindness and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

The breakfast selection could be improved with the addition of a few packets of sauce or salsa for the breakfast burrito, which was otherwise a great option.

The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. the staff made sure to accommodate our dietary needs, which was a big plus. the location of the hotel was perfect for us as we were able to easily visit the nearby campsites, trails, and visitor centers. We also appreciated the complimentary bathrobes provided by the hotel.

There were a couple of issues during our stay. the elevator was under repair, so we had to walk down the stairs.

The staff quickly resolved a credit card issue. The rooms were amazing with acoustic entertainment on the patio. The grounds were heavenly. Personal attention made the stay special, with Sherry, chilled champagne, and birthday celebration. Best relaxing experience ever, can't wait to return!

Comfortable stay in historic building, no TV. Friend's new building had spacious suite with TV and antique furnishings. Vintage hotel room, perfectly clean. Lovely grounds, perfect atmosphere. Close to redwood groves.

As bike riders, we appreciated the accessible bike storage area and the bike-friendly staff. The nearby Julia Morgan house tour was a hidden gem and should be promoted more by the hotel. Towels provided were of great quality.

Felt cozy, no reason to complain.
