During our romantic escape, we loved the low cost of the hotel and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Despite the ongoing refurbishments, we were informed about them in advance, ensuring that we were prepared for any inconveniences. The temporary bar and restaurant on the first floor were well set up and provided a cozy atmosphere for us to enjoy our meals.

If I had to highlight a negative aspect, it would be that some areas of the room needed a bit more attention to cleanliness, such as the bedframe lips and mirrors requiring dusting. However, this minor issue did not detract from our overall enjoyment of our stay.

The bar food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast had a nice selection to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed my three-night stay here and would definitely come back.

I especially want to mention Caroline, the manager, who provided excellent hospitality and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The amenities in the room were great, including ironing facilities, an in-room safe, and a flat-screen TV. The dining options were also impressive, with a restaurant and bar/lounge on-site. I really enjoyed my meals here, and the staff was always friendly and attentive.

One downside I noticed during my stay was the lack of a cold soft drinks vending machine when the bar closed. It would have been nice to have access to cold drinks, especially when returning late to the hotel.
