We got great value for our money at Blackwater Eco Pods. The room was clean, cosy, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was peaceful, close to nature and the Blackwater River. The staff, especially Alan the manager, were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

The breakfast menu could have been improved with the addition of tea, coffee, and milk supplies in the room for a quick drink in the morning.

The staff member who greeted us was excellent and quickly showed us to our pod and told us anything we needed to know before heading away and leaving us to settle in. the pods themselves are quite spacious and they didn't feel cramped at any stage. -the pods are well equipped with a microwave oven, a kettle, toaster, and mini fridge, making it easy to prepare simple meals. -the location of the pods is convenient, with a pub nearby for food and drinks and a little shop for any necessary supplies.

There was no inside mat to wipe feet on, which was a bit problematic when it was raining outside. There was no bath mat to step out onto when exiting the shower, which could be slippery.

Great location for families, fairy forest walk, Blackwater boat tours, nearby cycling, Clonea strand beach.

Couldn't stay longer.
