The room was spotlessly clean with a large comfy bed. It was the quietest hotel we've ever stayed in. Everything we needed was in the room. The location was great for plenty bars & restaurants, with a 30-minute walk or 7-minute taxi ride to the city center.

The breakfast options were amazing, with a wide variety to choose from. The room was exceptionally clean and the room darkening curtains made it easy to get a good night's sleep.

Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as having to pay for parking twice and not receiving a prompt response when requesting extra water, overall my stay at Clayton Hotel Charlemont was excellent. The comfortable room, great shower, and friendly staff made up for any small issues.

We loved the king-sized bed and large screen TV in our room. The mugs provided instead of cup and saucers were a nice touch. The shower was spacious and had a good height, perfect for taller people. The towels and bed linens were of top grade quality. The hotel's location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the city center. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a nice bar right next door with a beautiful view of the canal. The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with any requests.

There was some construction going on nearby, which was a bit noisy at times, but this was outside of the hotel's control.
