The hotel had a fantastic bar and the overall decor was stunning. The receptionists were extremely helpful and efficient, providing us with excellent directions and suggestions. The value for money was exceptional, making our stay in picturesque Sligo even more enjoyable. We will definitely choose Southern Hotel & Leisure Centre again for our future visits to the area.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk into town center and right next to the train and bus stations. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help me. They were extremely friendly and even offered me an umbrella when it was raining. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities and a tea and coffee maker. The hotel also had great leisure facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. I had a wonderful experience here.

We stayed in a spacious and comfortable junior suite. The hotel is a short walk from the vibrant town centre with excellent restaurants and bars. Perfect location next to train station, walking distance to beach and 15 mins from beautiful Strandhill Beach. Free onsite parking. Staff very friendly. Restaurant and bar food delicious. A bit dated decor-wise but clean and comfortable. Check-in time at 3 was strict. No rooms ready when we arrived tired but glad the hotel was busy. The room was spotless with nice romantic touches. Tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Emperor size bed was a pleasant surprise. Reception staff were professional. Convenient to rail station and buses. Swimming pool facilities nice.

During my New Year's stay, I enjoyed the complimentary cocktails and snacks offered by the hotel's bar. the location also made it very easy to access different parts of the town, as it was a short walk from major attractions. I appreciated the comfortable beds in the rooms.

The staff seemed overworked and underprepared for the New Year's crowd, as the noise level was quite high with people talking loudly in the hallways. the room we were in was also quite small and lacked proper amenities, such as a fridge and kettle.

we had a great stay at the southern hotel & leisure centre. the location was perfect, close to the city centre yet peaceful at night. the staff were very helpful and moved us to a new room immediately when we had an issue. the new room was luxurious and had the perfect temperature. the lobby area was also nice and the food on offer all day was great. overall, it was a perfect stay and great value for money.
