had an excellent stay, staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to help. Beds were unbelievably comfortable, room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was ample, and the staff were professional and friendly. Planning to stay again, exceeded expectations!

noisy at night, couldn't sleep

I had a wonderful stay at Lydon Lodge! The location was perfect for exploring the charming village. The breakfast was superb - tasty and satisfying. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist me with finding an electrical adapter. The hospitality was top-notch, making me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing could have been better.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of the charming village, Cong. It is also very close to the famous Ashford Castle. The rooms are comfortable with cosy beds and the bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly, helpful, and engaged in providing excellent customer service. The breakfast at the hotel offers a good selection of delicious food. In addition, the hotel provides facilities such as an attached restaurant and pub, where guests can enjoy traditional Irish music and dance.

Some visitors have mentioned that the hallways of the hotel are narrow and the stairs are steep.

The owners of this family-run hotel couldn't have been more accommodating during our city break. the selection of food was amazing, and everything was freshly made to order. We especially enjoyed the complementary tea and toast when we missed breakfast - a gesture of true Irish hospitality! the location is perfect for exploring the local area, with top tourist attractions nearby.

The rooms were a bit noisy due to restrictions on outside dining - but we knew this when we booked and weren't really bothered by it. the narrow staircases were somewhat inconvenient, but the hotel staff would have happily helped with our bags if we had asked.

stayed at a lovely hotel in cong, and couldn't be happier! got rooms close together, felt like our own wing. comfy beds, great restaurant and pub attached, even had traditional irish music and dance. superb breakfast, excellent staff. perfect location to explore cong and surrounding areas. amazing stout!
