The hotel is conveniently located just off the M6, making it perfect for work travelers who need easy access to the motorway. the hotel is very close to the canal, providing a picturesque location for lovely walks. being so close to junction 36 of the M6 makes it incredibly convenient to explore the North Lake District.

There seemed to be an issue with the bathroom in one of the rooms, as water from the shower was leaking onto the floor.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a very nice and comfortable bed. The restaurant offers a great Sunday carvery with a variety of meats to choose from. The staff is friendly and accommodating, as they were happy to accommodate a late arrival and were helpful during check-in and check-out.

The only minor issue mentioned by a reviewer was the temperature in the restaurant and bar being too warm.

I booked this hotel for a girls' day out at Go Ape in Grizedale Forest and it exceeded all my expectations. The evening meal had a great vegetarian selection and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient but peaceful, and I can't wait to visit again.

My room at Crooklands was clean and spacious, with a lovely big bed and a clean bathroom. The hotel is dog friendly and in a great location. I recently stayed at a hotel conveniently located near the M6, making it easy to access both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, even better than some 5-star hotels I've stayed in before. The breakfast selection was wonderful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a cooked vegetarian option available. the hotel had a walkway connecting the bar area to the reception area, making it convenient to move around the premises.

I did notice that the bathroom grout and ceiling were stained with mildew, which was a bit disappointing.

We recently stayed at a hotel conveniently located near the M6 motorway and we were delighted by our experience. The accommodation was superb, and we appreciated the fact that most of it was on the ground floor. As a celiac, my wife had no trouble finding a wide variety of food options that suited her dietary needs. We also had a lovely dinner with family members who were visiting from Texas, USA, and they were pleasantly surprised by the choice of dishes on the menu. The standout feature of our stay, however, was the helpfulness of the staff. They were always willing to go the extra mile and ensured that our needs were met.

Although our stay was enjoyable overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The drinks service was a bit slow, and the carpets in the dining room were in need of replacement as they were stained.
