Our trip to the hotel was for leisure, and we stayed for two nights. the 3-course dinner included in the package was outstanding. the staff's knowledge of the menu stood out, and they happily accommodated our request to dine outdoors. the spacious room with comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep. the proximity to a charming town with a great pub, as well as easy access to Kilkenny and the Wicklow Mountains, was a bonus. the breakfast here tops our list compared to our stays at five other locations in Ireland.

my recent stay at mount wolseley hotel spa & golf resort was lovely. excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff made my experience delightful. from the fantastic breakfast service with great variety to the lovely sarah in the bar, every moment was enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel – great value for money and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was peaceful and there was even a bouncy castle for the kids. The staff were friendly, polite, and really made us feel welcome.

The breakfast offerings could use some improvement.

cleanliness was top-notch at mount wolseley hotel spa & golf resort. its location is convenient - close to a town with a nice pub and near kilkenny and wicklow mountains. the library had lovely music playing in the background. the spa massage and facial were really delightful.

Great outdoor amenities including playground and well-kept gardens. Loved the family den and games room which kept us entertained. Front of house staff were approachable and helpful.

Facilities and room were outdated and worn. Food was only satisfactory and not worth the price.

The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel amenities were top-notch, including a terrace with garden furniture where we could unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. The dining experience was exceptional, with a restaurant offering a delicious continental breakfast and a bar/lounge area serving a variety of tasty snacks and drinks. the fabulous and friendly service from all the staff members made our stay truly memorable.

They seemed short-staffed and no effort was made to make amends for the poor service. However, we still highly recommend this hotel for its luxurious amenities and enhanced comfort.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The location was great, just a short drive from the beautiful Kilkenney castle. The relaxing area was perfect for unwinding after a long day, and the hotel-entertainment was top-notch. The highlight of my stay was dining at Frederick's restaurant, where I found a variety of delicious options to choose from. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the service was impeccable. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of tasty food, and the view from the hotel was breathtaking.

That there was no designated walking area, as non-golfers were not permitted on the golf course.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was top class and the golf course was in perfect condition.

The view from our room overlooked the beautiful golf course, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The hotel also had excellent facilities, including a swimming pool and playground for guests to enjoy.

We did find the hotel to be ineffective in properly managing the busy atmosphere in certain areas, which resulted in overcrowding and delays in accessing certain facilities.
