Staying at the Royal Spa Hotel was like being wrapped in a warm, comfortable blanket on a chilly Irish day. The breakfast was not just any breakfast. it was a delightful feast that had the best coffee and porridge I've experienced in all of Ireland! The staff were just as warm as that blanket, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable – like offering me a free lift to my next destination while I was casually having breakfast! Talk about service with a smile! This hotel oozes charm with its nearly 200-year history, and you just can’t help but feel the stories it’s witnessed over the years. I’d say if you’re considering a place in Lisdoonvarna, this should be at the top of your list!

During my stay, I encountered several inconveniences. The water pressure in my bathroom was inconsistent, leading to a frustrating shower experience where the water stopped multiple times. Additionally, the room felt cramped, and I had difficulties managing the tiny bathroom, which made it challenging to use. Unfortunately, the remote for the TV was unreliable, and the towels were surprisingly small, adding to my discomfort.

The room was cosy and clean, with lovely bathroom toiletries. Exceptionally located for visiting nearby attractions like the Cliffs of Moher.

Staying here with my family was delightful! We enjoyed a lovely overnight trip along the Wild Atlantic Way and appreciated the comfortable beds. The food was a terrific deal, especially after a day exploring the nearby Aillwee Cave. Definitely a memorable experience.

My wife says that breakfast timing should better accommodate early risers.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free Wi-Fi, cozy coffee shop, and delicious breakfast. The staff once helped me with bug spray during my first stay. Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting! I'll be back for a city break.
