My boyfriend and I booked into this hotel for my birthday. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who informed us that our room had been upgraded. We stayed in the Executive Suite with a stunning view of the local beach. The room itself was fabulous, and we had a comfortable and warm stay. The dinner in the lounge was delicious, and the breakfast the next morning was a treat with a variety of options for everyone. The staff, especially Kevina and Ronan, were friendly, attentive, and made our stay memorable. We also appreciated the small touch of receiving bottles of water on departure. We'll definitely be back!

We had such a warm and friendly welcome on arrival at the hotel. The staff were so helpful throughout our stay. The view from our room overlooking the bay was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed delicious meals in the bar, with generous portions and the baileys coffee was simply dreamy. The leisure centre was a hit with my daughter who loved swimming, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the thermal spa, especially the outside jacuzzi with its breathtaking scenery. The hotel's location is excellent, with a beach just a short walk away and Ards forest park nearby. we had a fantastic experience at the Shandon Hotel and are already planning to return next year for a longer stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful setting, cleanliness, friendly staff, and excellent food.

We stayed at Shandon Hotel for a few days to celebrate my birthday. The junior suite we were given was amazing - spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, attending to all our requests. The hotel's location near the beach and with stunning views of Sheephaven Bay was truly breathtaking. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were delicious, and we enjoyed using the well-equipped leisure center. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a mix of modern and outdated furnishings. The staff provide excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious, with a buffet spread and attentive young staff. The hotel also offers a thermal spa and pool area for guests to relax and unwind.

The robes are not provided in the rooms, which can be a bit disappointing for guests expecting them.
