Skellys suited our Famine way walk with a big, comfy room. Great food and pints for relaxation. Expected pub noise but slept well. Friendly staff. Would stay again for sure, excellent value. Pleased with the cosiness, a tasty steak dinner, and a hearty Full Irish breakfast in the morning. Noteworthy was the proximity to Newcastle Wood, a mere 2.49 km away, offering a serene escape into nature for the whole family.

A bit of a mixed bag. Room was fine, had to share with a mysterious wardrobe guest, but my dog got the royal treatment. Breakfast surprise was a win. Staff rocked, and dinner was top-notch. Doggo had a spot to frolic. Sadly, Monday's menu was a ghost town, but we got the go-ahead to BYO. Low water pressure was a minor setback. Would've been perfect if not for the missing bikes and confusing set-up. Still, dog-approved!

The late-night shindig was a snooze hurdle, and the water pressure tap-danced. Brekkie at 9:30 had us playing the waiting game.

Had a fab stay on the Hill of Uisneach! LOVED the comfy beds & the pub downstairs. the gardens were better than on photos! Definitely staying here again! Cheers!

I had a wonderful stay at a relaxed and comfortable place in a charming town. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the power shower was fantastic. The breakfast was top quality and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit again! highly recommend this hotel.

The bar at Skellys had a great selection of craft beer and cider, perfect for low-budget travellers. The dinner was delicious and satisfying, and the bed was comfortable and seemed antique. The shower had plenty of hot water and was powerful. The breakfast was tasty, and you could order whatever you wanted.

The staff at Skellys were so friendly and attentive, making us feel safe and at home. It felt like visiting family, and there was no reason to complain.
