Daphne, the owner, warmly welcomed us into her cosy home. the beautifully presented rooms and comfortable beds made for a pleasant stay. the lounge, with its open fire, was the perfect place to relax. We were treated to a delicious breakfast, with Daphne's scrumptious pancakes being a highlight. the location was ideal, with great eateries and pubs within walking distance. Stirabout Lane B&B comes highly recommended for its friendly owner, tasty breakfast, and convenient location.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for me, nestled in a forest near the Wicklow Mountains and the picturesque area of Glendalough. Everything I needed was in walking distance, which made exploring the area a breeze. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and I really appreciated the room amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, and a cozy sitting area. The free toiletries and electric kettle were a nice touch, and I loved watching TV on the flat-screen while lounging on the parquet floor. The packed lunches were delicious and perfect for my hikes, and the special diet menus made eating here a breeze.

The owners provided us with local history, recommended great restaurants and a fun bar, and told us about a lovely park nearby. The sitting room with an open fire and the well-kept back garden were also great features. It felt like a home away from home.

The bedroom was inadequately heated, with the central heating turned off at night and not turned on the following morning, making it very cold. the loo seat was also broken and badly worn underneath.
