We arrived late at night and were locked out of the hotel. It was frustrating and the night porter took a long time to respond. However, the manager apologized and the issue was properly addressed. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and good service.

We had a pleasant stay at Ellison with friendly staff. the room was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine. the hotel is conveniently located near shops and easy to find. the breakfast was delicious, and the dining staff were helpful. We were pleased to be accommodated with a suitable room close to parking and a lift, considering my walking issue. it was a pleasant experience with good facilities and free parking.

The Ellison was excellent value for money, with a clean and comfortable room. The location was perfect, right next to the Theatre and surrounded by plenty of shops. The staff, especially Lisa at reception, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed and ensuring we had a pleasant stay.

The only improvement needed would be to offer pancakes as a breakfast option.

We had a fabulous stay at this place! The central location was ideal, and the lovely view over the remembrance memorial garden added to the atmosphere. The spacious room was clean and had all the amenities we needed, including heating, air conditioning, and a comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special, even surprising my sister and fiance on their recent engagement. The dining experience was excellent, with a delicious breakfast and a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. We also appreciated the numerous hand gel stations throughout the hotel, ensuring a safe and clean environment. this hotel provided us with a luxurious and comfortable experience.

Although we had a great experience, we would highly recommend this hotel to families as well.

The location of the hotel was extremely convenient, right in the center of town with easy access to shops and amenities. It was also close to a beautiful lake with a scenic running circuit, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, being situated in the Royal theatre provided an added bonus of easy access to cultural events and performances.

The lack of ventilation in the room, making it stuffy and uncomfortably hot in warm weather.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic 4-star hotel in Castlebar. This place not only provides luxurious accommodation but also offers enhanced comfort and quality services. The location of this hotel is excellent, as it is right beside the TF theatre and opposite a supermarket, making it convenient for shopping and entertainment. Additionally, there is a lovely park nearby with a circular walk and outdoor gym equipment dotted along the route, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a workout.

All in all, this hotel provides an overall exceptional experience, from its convenient location to its impeccable service and comfortable rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Castlebar.
