We had a wonderful stay at Valley Lodge. The farmhouse setting was idyllic and the surrounding countryside was stunning. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were impeccably clean and cozy, providing us with a comfortable and peaceful night's sleep. We also enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast in the charming shared living room. The highlight for us was being able to see the farm animals in the yard, which was a delight for the children. Despite a small inconvenience in finding the hostel initially, our overall experience was fantastic. We would highly recommend Valley Lodge Farm Hostel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Irish countryside.

the hosts, Eddie and Mary, treated me like family and were incredibly helpful and considerate throughout my stay. the accommodation was excellent, with a spacious room and a large en-suite bathroom. the living and kitchen areas were bright and cheerful, making me feel right at home. the whole place was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I especially loved the homemade breakfast provided by Mary, with fresh bread and jam that was simply delicious. I highly recommend this guest house for its warm hospitality and great value for money.

Spent Christmas there with the fam and the beds were comfy and the room was clean. the fireplace in the living room was cozy and the staff was helpful with our needs.

it was quite difficult to find the place at night as the signage was not clear enough and there were no street lamps.

Had a fabulously entertaining time trekking up a mountain to pray, indulged in prehistoric landscapes, and enjoyed the unique experience of the Ceide Fields. Just loved the stunning views along the long distance cycle route.

Oh, how I missed the poor wifi and weak TV signal! But who needs technology when surrounded by such wonder?
