Some companions found the beds a bit stiff, so adding more mattress toppers could enhance the comfort level.

Gerard and Mary's place was absolutely mind-blowing! Their house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with stunning antique furniture. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The peacefulness of the surroundings, with the house set in its own grounds, was jaw-dropping. The breakfast they served us was not only gorgeous but also elegantly presented. Being able to relax in the lovely front room was a super bonus. Gerard even offered to pick us up/drop us off at the coach stop, which was incredibly kind of him. The location was perfect for all sorts of activities like hiking, cycling, fishing, and golf. And the walk to town through the grounds, with views of the lake and castle, was simply breathtaking. Mary and Gerard were the most welcoming hosts, and talking to them was an absolute delight. The hosts were friendly and even made us delicious pancakes for breakfast. The location was convenient, with a scenic walk to town and a lovely restaurant nearby. The bungalow was perfect for larger groups, with the advantage of a kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if in the area.
