We had a great stay at a lovely guesthouse in Windermere. Jo, our host at Westbury House, was friendly and helpful. the room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits. We appreciated the thoughtful addition of a bottle of wine. Breakfast was delicious and served hot. the location was convenient, with shops, restaurants, and the lake all within walking distance. the train and bus stations were also nearby, making it easy to explore the area. Jo made us feel welcome and provided the perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy.

We had a great stay in this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The parking was free, and we didn't have any issues finding a space. The location was perfect, close to all the nearby attractions in England's Lake District. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay before heading off to explore the lakes. The breakfast provided was ample, and the staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge.

Great location near the lively high street with pubs, bars, and restaurants within 5 minutes. Comfortable room with a nice view of the main street. The best electric shower I've ever experienced - super powerful and hot. Lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. Helpful and accommodating host who ensured we had free parking. Would fully recommend and book again.

Comfortable and convenient B&B with a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was cozy but had a comfortable bed and everything we needed. The room had nice extras like coffee and tea which we really enjoyed. the location was excellent, it was close to the train station and attractions. We appreciated the comfortable king-sized bed for our romantic escape.

The bathroom was tiny, making it difficult for both of us to fit comfortably. the towels had a strange smell that was off-putting.

I recently stayed at Westbury House for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located on a quiet street but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and transportation options. The room was warm and the bed was incredibly comfortable- I slept like a baby! Jo, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was served, with plenty of food and drink options. I had a great stay and will definitely be returning in the summer.
