The establishment also offers free parking for around 12 cars, making it hassle-free for guests with vehicles. The rooms are comfortable and well-furnished, some even offering a view of the main street. The breakfast provided is ample and sets you up for the day, with a good selection of cereals, toast, and a delicious full English breakfast.

We had a great stay at a lovely guesthouse in Windermere. Jo, our host at Westbury House, was friendly and helpful. the room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits. We appreciated the thoughtful addition of a bottle of wine. Breakfast was delicious and served hot. the location was convenient, with shops, restaurants, and the lake all within walking distance. the train and bus stations were also nearby, making it easy to explore the area. Jo made us feel welcome and provided the perfect balance of attentiveness and privacy.

Not obvious to find

We had a great stay in this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The parking was free, and we didn't have any issues finding a space. The location was perfect, close to all the nearby attractions in England's Lake District. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay before heading off to explore the lakes. The breakfast provided was ample, and the staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge.

Great location near the lively high street with pubs, bars, and restaurants within 5 minutes. Comfortable room with a nice view of the main street. The best electric shower I've ever experienced - super powerful and hot. Lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. Helpful and accommodating host who ensured we had free parking. Would fully recommend and book again.

Clear and straightforward, great breakfast, friendly host, comfortable beds. Rooftop room allows for bird sounds in the morning. Single room with double bed and strong shower. Convenient location for walking or public transport.

The room had nice extras like coffee and tea which we really enjoyed. the location was excellent, it was close to the train station and attractions. We appreciated the comfortable king-sized bed for our romantic escape.

The bathroom was tiny, making it difficult for both of us to fit comfortably. the towels had a strange smell that was off-putting.
